Amatsu is de beste Japanner van Gent. In dit sobere restaurant wachten u namelijk authentieke smaken die met gevoel worden bereid. De manier waarop de zalm in teriyaki wordt gegaard met een subtiel samenspel van soja en sesam toont het talent van de chef aan. Opteer voor de eerste zaal om te bewonderen hoe hij sushi rolt, een bereiding waarvoor hij regelmatig minder bekende vissen gebruikt. Nog een tip: laat u gerust verleiden door de bijbehorende sakesuggesties.

Amatsu is perhaps the best Japanese eatery in Ghent. Authentic Japanese fare in a characteristic low-key interior. The teriyaki salmon with a subtle soy and sesame sauce unveils and highlights the chef’s skill and talent and for a close-up view of his high-flying dexterity, opt for a table in the first room to see him crafting sushis with less-known fish. Fine selection of sakés.
